Hollow tear troughs deepen the valley between the eye and the cheek, cast a shadow and make you look tired even when rested. A precise injection of hyaluronic acid dedicated to this area fills the hollow and softens the transition — a refreshed gaze, never frozen.

Indications

  • 01Hereditary or age-related hollow tear troughs
  • 02Marked tear valley
  • 03Persistent shadow despite good sleep
  • 04Chronic tired appearance

Procedure

Assessment of skin quality and volume to be filled. Topical anaesthesia, then injection with a cannula (to minimise bruising risk) into a deep plane. Duration: 20–30 minutes.

Results

The gaze appears immediately more rested. The final result is visible at 2 weeks. Longevity is long — often 12 to 18 months — because the area moves little.

Aftercare

Cold compress the evening of the session, avoid intense sport for 48 hours. A small bruise is possible near the cannula entry point. Avoid pressured massages on the area for a week.

FAQ

Tear Trough Filler

  • No. Hollow tear troughs respond very well to filler; pigmented or vascular dark circles (purplish) respond better to mesotherapy or PRP. A consultation establishes the correct diagnosis.
